She is three?

Since my last post not too much has happened.....Shane has been working, I have been going to the gym, and this little stinker........

TURNED THREE!!!

Soooo we did what we always do.We threw a big party and it was so fun! Scroll down and enjoy.

There was a pinata! A hand me down pinata from Emma's party that never got broken because the kids were too little. SO we let my niece Brekyn have at it and she busted it open for everyone. She was so happy that she got to be the one this year because Tag got it last year and she was so bummed. She kept saying "that pinata is MINE" and I TOTALLY forgot a bat and so we had to use the BBQ spatula. Tatum looks so cute in this next picture because her blindfold fell and she is wondering why she has to wear it anyways. She didn't get the entire party thing down. All she wanted to do was play on the playground, she didn't understand why we kept coming to get her..."Tatum come here!! It is time for cake/presents/food/pinata. This is your party!" she just kept on running away from us. Boy were we tired!
Oh and the presents.....Here is how the present thing started off.She was so happy in the beginning......

...........................smily girl!!............................

Ok here is where she starts to look a little overwhelmed. She does this in big groups of crowded people. It is too much for her and she did it at her last birthday when it came time to open presents....

She started to cry after 2 presents. She didn't want to open any more. Bless her little heart. It was so sad though because all of her little cousins and friends couldn't wait for her to open their gifts and Tatum was not havin it! We ended up taking a few breaks in between to calm her down and we ended up getting to open them.

Oh my Nash T boy!He loves to say CHEEE for the camera.Oh and you should hear him say grass. It is possibly one of the cutest things ever.I hope you have it on camera Allie!

Here is such a cute snapshot of Tatum's "bes fren" Emma. They play so GREAT together.

Me helping Tato open her fun presents. She got sooo many cool things thanks to such fun friends and family. We are so lucky to have such an awesome (HUGE) family and to have been so fortunate to have such great friends! Thanks for making Tatum's party so great.

You know, it really does seem like yesterday that I was holding my sweet baby girl in the hospital. They really grow quickly and lately that has taken on a whole new meaning for me.She is growing up and I love every new stage that she hits. She always has Shane and I laughing hysterically. She is so full of life and personality. We love our little Tatum girl. Happy third birthday sweetheart.

precious moments like these....

Ok, Shane might get a little upset if I post this one but I had to.I wanted everyone to see what a sweet daddy he is.I love this picture..their arms are in the same position and they are truly sleeping.Of course when the flash went off Shane opened his eyes with a confused look on his face and whispered loudly "What are you doing???"I told him that I had to capture this very moment. These are the moments that make my heart pitter patter.LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!!!

The wonderful weekend of fun.

Well we went to watch conference at the cabin this weekend and it was some kind of wonderful!!We were able to watch most of it....this little girl was a little bit in my face and a little bit noisy.I did print out the activity packet which was WAY over her head.I though she could just color on the pages and that she would be quiet for a little while...no way hose a.She was in my face(I love every minute of it though.)I did get plenty out of conference. It seems like every time general conference rolls around I am able to pull exactly what I need out of it.I am so thankful that Shane and I were able to go and spend time with the family and watch conference all together.

look at that pose! This is a first for our baby...she is not a poser at all.Man oh man I love her sooooooooooo much. When I tell her that I love her she says "I luh you tew mommy"There is nothing more rewarding than to hear her sweet little voice tell me that.We are ever so thankful for our sweet Tatum girl.

Playing with Papa Frank on the couch. We got her that horse at the store and she would not put it down. The girl is obsessed!!She wants a horrrse for her birtday.Next picture is a of her pestering papa.....we LOOOVE watching papa get annoyed. He is SO fun and entertaining and we love him so much. Thanks for the cabin trip!We had so much fun!

Go go go giego go!Watching Diego in the car on the way home. The headphones are too big and so this is how she holds them.Sometimes she holds them with her shoulders.Notice her horse next to her?How sweet is she?

Ok, so Tatum got away from me for a few minutes and when I went to check on her this is what I found.Yucky Carms(Lucky Charms) all over her bed!Oh and she had eaten ALL of the marshmallows. This is the entire box folks and I had changed her sheets that morning.

Going to the dairy farm!!

This past week we went to the dairy for a dairy farm tour. They teach you everything about cows from what they eat to how they take care of them when they are sick.We saw one little calf just minutes after it was born...it was sooo cute!Shane and I thought it would be fun since Tatum LOVEs animals .When you walk out to the farm they have this little petting zoo that has a horse, donkey, rabbits, chickens, roosters,a dog and goats. They stand out there and give you food to feed these funny little animals. They all have personality and we really had a good time. Here are some pictures of the little trip.

Tatum and Daddy!

Here Tatum is feeding the horse which by the way is named Lover. He was so sweet and Tatum was in heaven! She loves horses so much and is a tad obsessed. She kept asking for carrots to feed him even though there was a line of kids.We ushered her to the back of the line and when all of the other kids were done feeding the horse and didn't care anymore, there was Tatum right at Lovers side asking for carrot after carrot. She really liked feeding that horse. No wonder they call him Lover! He was loved by Tater tots that is for sure!!!These next few shots are of the goats. She liked feeding the goats but kept running back to the horse. She is such a funny girl!

Here is a pretty little farm girl!
Here we are on a ride to see all of the 1000 cows they have at the dairy.Whew! That is a lot of milk!

Hee hee!Tatum loved holding that funny rooster. She is saying cheese in this picture but I can't figure out why she won't look at the camera or smile. This is the end of the trip and we are tired hence the hair in her face and the sweaty rosy cheeks!

And last but not least.....meet Preslie Paige!Brady and Brooke had their baby on Monday and she is just so cute.We are so excited for them and are so glad to have cute baby Preslie in our family.I wonder how many hairbows I can make her? Here is a picture of her laying on my lap.LOVE HER!

Happenings.......

Swimming lessons is officially over.I was done teaching in July and since I didn't want Tatum to be done yet(she was doing soooo good.)I signed her up with Kim.Kim taught me to swim and is the reason that I actually teach swimming lessons in the first place.Tatum is a fish and at 2 1/2 years she learned to do breast stroke kicks and backstroke(although her face is kinda underwater she is still on her back). She is suck a fun, smart little cutie.

Here is my ADORABLE big BOY NASH.He is my sister Allie's little boy and he is soo fun.The reason I posted this picture is because Nash is holding a football and I couldn't resist..... football season has officially begun and I won't be able to watch anyting I want to on tv as my husband is a huge football addict. As I am typing, the Michigan game is on behind me.I will miss you Shane.I love you but I don't love football on tv.It is just ok sometimes.
Today we went to the zoo.Tatum loves that place and always says the cutest things while we are there.I love the way she says coyote.....Don't the two loves of my life look cute!I love them!
Tater tots with mommy
AND WELCOME.....
Stacy and Michael had their fifth baby.Roman Scott.7.10 and 21 inches long...he is just beautiful. All of our nieces and nephews are. After Brady and Brooke there will be 3 that were born within 3 and 1/2 months this year!So fun!
We love him so much.
Tatum's "breast stroke"So fun!She tries so hard!

Newport and DINEYLANNNN!

Here is an update on our little family.A couple weeks ago we went to Newport with my family like we do every year.It was a BLAST!I didn't take tons of pictures like I normally do but I did get some!!
Here are a couple pictures of the beach.THis first one is how my nephew Nash T. loved the ocean and how Tatum (seen running away) didn't.
Here is everyone on the beach Sandy,Chuck,Tatum,Shane,me(am I trying to be a super model?) Megan,Nash,Matt,Pat(mom)Phil(dad)
The merry go round(Tatum's FAVORITE!)and it is not Nash's until this trip!I am so glad you like it now Nashers.

Black beans for breakfast?
Ok.Here is our short trip to Disneyland(we are going again in October so I didn't go all out with the pictures......)It was way hot and crowded.Tatum was sooo good though and loved every minute we were there.
Here we are in Tarzan's treehouse. That thing is so cool!
THis is what Tatum did in every line.Pulled my hand when the line moved up.She culdn't wait to get on the teacups!

Ariel is so sweet! She is Tatum's favorite and the only one I really cared to wait in line for.She gave Tatum a kiss on the forehead. So so nice!Tatum was in heaven.

On the winnie the pooh ride. She was starting to get tired at this point. She looks mesmerized.

Overall it was a great trip and we can't wait to go again when we can stay longer and it won't be hot or crowded.Disneyland is all Tatum talks about now and wants to look at the pictures on the computer all the live long day!Yay for Disneyland!

Swimming lessons!!!!

Well, swimming lessons started on Monday and I have been so busy that I am just now posting about it.First off can I just say how much stinking FUN I have had with all those fun kids??It is fun and rewarding to see the kids stop crying and start swimming.I also like seeing the parents excitement of their kids accomplishments.I love teaching.......SERIOUSLY!I have had a blast (besides being cold from cruddy weather)and I am excited to get in the pool on Monday (although I will enjoy my pool free weekend....I am in there for 8 1/2 hours a day)I love every minute of it and I couldn't ask for a better group of kids!!!!!I love every one of them especially my little stinker Tatum. She did pretty good and remembered how to swim for the most part.I am however worried about her ears.Last year she had tubes put in right when the summer ended.I can't for the life of me get her to keep those darn earplugs in so we just swim without them.I have heard that if the pool is well kept that it should be fine but she is now afraid of swimming through the hoop in the deep end and afraid of getting the rings(which she loves loves loves!!!!!)I am sure she will come around and we will figure out a solution. She will have to because she is such a water bug just like her mom.....I LOVES IT!!!PS(I have no idea who this little girl with the goggles on is.I got it from an image search because I have not taken any pictures.I will have someone take some and then I will post them!)
