Mmmmm a drink
I'm swimming!!(skinny dipping in the puddles)
OK!We have officially hit terrible twos.
Today I have been chasing her butt naked with a marker in her hand, plugging my ears with the screaming tantrums, scrubbing whatever she has actually colored on,fishing rocks out of her mouth, cleaning up the paper clips and fishies she decided to ground into the carpet, and picking up the food she dumped on the floor for the 70th time. There's definately more but my head is spinning I can't remember it all!She reminds me of the tazmainian devil.( I had to put her in her crib so I could post this) and as I am sitting here she is laughing hysterically.AT WHAT?It's like she can make a mess in a nanosecond and then she is off to the next one.Energy,.........she is full of it.I feel like pulling out my hair.

All I can say is welcome to toddler-hood. They do turn into little devils at times but oh how funny! Its a time when I wish I could be in their heads cause I want to know HOW they get from point A to B. Don't worry though, I'm sure she'll give it up in about 1 or 2 months or years or something. :)

Ha! I am glad I am not the only one frustrated when Tylie throws her food every time she eats and I always think she should understand not to do it again but of course she does! Those are cute pics.

That is exactly how Sophie is. I just don't understand where her energy comes from. I can't wait till she grows out of this stage. I wish she was still in a crib. It would be nice to be able to put her somewhere and have her not be able to get out.

Hmmm...if I were to picture you as a toddler, that would be it! You know I love you though and I totally understand the frustration. Kaitlyn recently dropped some food on the ground outside and I told her she couldn't eat it because it was too dirty and we needed to leave it for the bugs to eat, well now she tries to purposely drop food on the floor (inside) to feed the bugs...gggrrrrr

A child drinking from a street puddle is a familiar picture in my life. Don't worry, she won't die from it. I wander why they call it terrible two's though because it seems to last until they are about 6 or 7. Having a sibling also helps. It keeps them distracted from destroying your house....good luck and hang in there!!

That is too funny! The only reason I say that is because that is the secret!!!! If you look at it that way then it is a little easier to deal with. This too will pass....then it'll be something different! Hang in there and try to find somehting funnt in it!

Thank you! Finally a mother who will admit that life is hard sometimes. Yes, the energy is endless and YES, at least twice a day I feel like pulling my hair out. Your fam is so cute, and your little girl is adorable. 2 years old is hard but a lot of fun. I'm glad I found your blog- you look great! Tell Allie I said hello.

Ahhh the days of the terrible twos. I think it's more of a girl thing. Bryce isn't nearly as bad as Maddie was but it does get better....a little.

oh, thats too funny. I know exactly how you feel. Its so frustrating. I hate the food on the floor and the screaming, and of course, not obeying. Being a mom is tough stuff. I love the pictures of her drinking out of the street..yummy!
